Register for a Class
Registering for a class with Mill Valley Recreation is a simple process. We have created some video and graphic/text tutorials to help you along the way. As always, if you have any questions about how to register, or anything else, please call us at (415) 383-1370.

Registering for Classes - Written Instructions
For those of you who prefer to read instructions on how to register for classes, we have detailed the step-by-step instructions below with reference images.
Click on the "Register Now" button above to begin the registration process. This link will bring you the page containing the list of Activity categories currently available. Choose the category of classes you wish to view by clicking the link.
Once you click on your chosen category, you will see a new page come up with various options within that category. Here, we've chosen After School Enrichment and decided to see what was available at the Community Center. Click the "Show Courses" link to display what is available at that location. In the example above, the class "Photography with David" is chosen. When ready, click the "Register Now" button.
The page above is where you will choose which family member you will register for the class. Here we are choosing Child 2 Mind by clicking the checkbox to the left of his name. Once checked, click the "Next" button.
Please Note: The red box in the top of the window shows that some members of the account do not meet minimum requirements to register for the class. In the case above, the family member "Perfect Mind" is not able to register because that individual does not meet the age restrictions for the class. Other reasons for not meeting the minimum requirements would be if the individual had not yet signed their waiver. ALL PARTICIPATING FAMILY MEMBERS MUST HAVE A SIGNED WAIVER BEFORE BEING ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES.
The page above shows a breakdown of the fees associated with the chosen class. The General Fee refers to the basic cost of the class. The MV Scholarship and Processing Fee are required and cannot be deleted. When ready, click the "Next" button.
This page shows your shopping cart. Any classes that you've registered for (before checking out) will display here. In the example above, since we've only registered for one class, that is all that is showing. When ready to move forward with the checkout process, click the "Checkout" button.
This is the final page of the registration checkout process. In the left portion, you see any available "subsidies" which would be the MV Scholarships. If you have any scholarships in your account, they will show here. Below the subsidies you will see payment info. If you already have a credit card saved on file, you will see it here as you do above. If you'd like to use a different card, you can use the "Add a new Card" function. If you have never saved a credit card in your profile, you will see a typical credit card checkout form. On the right, you see a breakdown again of the fees. When ready, click "Place My Order" to complete the checkout process.
Please Note: You may only use a Visa or Mastercard when checking out for registered classes.
